OpenFlow-based SDN for wireless networks
Summary:
The primary objective of this thesis is presentation of OpenFlow-based SDN in
the area of wireless networks. Specifically, SDN, are described first , which
are supposed to meet a number of challenges and limitations of current
networks. Furthermore most recent version of OpenFlow protocol v.1.3.3 is
described next as well as use cases concerning SDN based on OpenFlow for
wireless networks. Opportunities that stem from this are analysed in the
process. Inspired by SDN's basic principle of decoupling control from data
plane, a technique at physical layer for MIMO interference management is
presented.
