Summary:
This diploma thesis aims to present occupational risk assessment, as the new
reality of
both the public and the private sector.The first chapter is an introduction
that includes certain terms that will prove quite
helpful in understanding better the study. The second chapter provides a
definition of
occupational risks and describes them in detail. The third chapter of the
diploma thesis refers to safety rules and regulations in the
workplace.The fourth chapter of the thesis provides a detailed description of
the term
Occupational Risk Assessment. The fifth chapter of the thesis presents the
methodology applied when conducting the
Occupational Risk Assessment.The sixth chapter gives a detailed presentation of
the findings of the study conducted
in the University’s building at 6, Lada Street.The seventh chapter of the
thesis presents the results to be drawn from comparing the
existing legislation and literature on work health and safety with the results
of the study
described in the fifth chapter.
