Summary:
The purpose of this thesis is to investigate the evolution and trends of the
literature on the research of natural disasters. An overall evaluation of the
literature, a systematic review, for the time period from 1980 to 2015 will be
attempted. The objective of the paper is to present both a descriptive and a
thematic analysis of the literature.
