Non-commutative group based cryptography
Summary:
Quantum computers will render unsafe the use of current cryptographic protocols
(such as the RSA). In this thesis, I present safer cryptographic protocols that
can be implemented by using non-commutative groups. The algorithmic problems of
Group Theory are utilized for the construction of such protocols. The
indicative example of Braids group is presented, as a model for the
implementation of the protocols described.
