Summary:
In the present diploma thesis why study the concept of Market Orientation and
its application to the companies. At first we present the alternative
definitions that have been given to this term and the benefit that companies
have from adopting it. Moreover we analyze the application of Market
Orientation in European and Asian telecommunications.
In the second part of this diploma thesis we study the concept of strategic
innovation. We refer to the reasons that a company needs strategic innovation
and the way to implement it through distribution of products, services,
pricing and its business model.
Finally we refer how the two above concepts, Market orientation and strategic
innovation, are connected.
