Summary:
Social and emotional learning is a process which supplies pupils with all the necessary emotional and social skills in order to have a healthy transition from the school microcosm to the society macrocosm. This specific research is concluded by five structural parts. The first structure is mentioned to the international review of the literature as far as the subject of social and emotional learning is concerned. The second structure is mentioned to the international review of literature as far as the conducted research is concerned. In the third structure the research process is unfolded. This research is a qualitative research which studies how the group actions encourage social and emotional learning (SEL) in secondary education in new Greek language subject. In the fourth structure there are all results of the research analytically as well the pupil’s answers from the interview. In the fifth and final structure there is a summary from the results of the research and proposals for further research in this field.
