Summary:
We wanted to study the effects of early life seizures in combination with peripubertal stress on the behavior and the cognitive activity of adult mice. We used a behavioral battery, in order to examine the cognitive differences in mice that took 1 injection with ptz (control group - vehicle). The animals also took part in a stress protocol in their puberty. Also, in order to syudy the differences in the brain strucutre, we counted the neurons that express parvalbumin and perineuronal nets in three distinct brain regions (cg1, m1, s1bf). The results can not confirm the two hit hypothesis, that was the primary question of that study, but some main effects that took place, show that further future study is necessary
