Summary:
This thesis deals with the examination of New Media as a communication tool for Greek parties that managed to have representation either in Greek or in European Parliament. The research concerns the elections between 2009 to 2014 and includes the imprinting of party activity on Web 2.0 applications. in order to implement the political communication strategy of each party. This period was chosen because, on the one hand, economic, social, political changes shaped the conditions we are experiencing today. On the other hand, technological developments that have taken place, placed the internet as a basic mean of communication.
