"Design and Evaluation of a Technologically Supported Physical Education Program for Non-Specialists"

The purpose of this research is to capture the benefits of adult participation, in specially designed educational programs that aim at understanding the nature of science. During the first stage, the research aims at evaluating a physics course for non-expert participants. The evaluation is based in the participant’s contribution to understanding and developing the scientific knowledge and skills, and changing their attitude towards science. During the second stage, the research findings provide information and feedback on improving the design and implementation of adult education programs, which aim at promoting scientific writing. In order to achieve this goal the participant’s answers were gathered for quality analysis. Findings include the degree of understanding the teachings, the degree of familiarization of all participants (with the steps of the scientific method), the degree of change of attitude and the perceptions of the participants regarding the science and the way these occurs between the two sexes and participants with preference in other subjects.
