Summary:
The theoretical context of this study examines approaches and opinions of primary school teachers, class teachers and parallel support teachers, with regard to disabled pupils’ education in the general/ordinary classroom and its co – teaching difficulties. It attempts a comparison between these two main groups of teachers and their proposals for its effective collaboration. In so doing, it adopts qualitative – descriptive research design, using as research tool the semi – structured interview. The sample consists of twelve (12) participants, six of which are teachers of general classroom and six (6) of parallel support. The interpretive process is based on the thematic content analysis.
