The critical reflection in typical and adult education in the light of art
Summary:
This thesis is about to probe the concept of critical reflection and its separation from the concept of critical thinking. It also examines whether underage are able to examine critically and in which stage of intellectual development this can happen. Finally, it is assessed the contribution of art to the development of critical reflection and the overturning of stereotypical assumptions.
In order to develop the subject it is used bibliographic method. The main topic presents theories of great educators in general education and in adult education, as well as theories of great psycologists. Each chapter compares the views which are reported and identifies any ambiguity. The focus of this thesis is on Mezirow's theory of Transformative learning.
