Summary:
ABSTRACT
During the last years the creation of suitable conditions has been highlighted concerning education and support in cognitive as well as in psychological level, of children with educational difficulties, as well as educational needs and disabilities.
The purpose of the present research is to investigate as much as possible more detailed the cases of learning difficulties, to evaluate through appreciation of experts and to find solutions in terms of support of such children but also their smooth social integration in schools and general education departments in order to acquire all the supplies cognitive and social for the development of their adult life.
Special reference is made to the difficulty of becoming familiar with the school subject of mathematics, the particularity of mathematics for conquest and consolidation of knowledge, as well as the attitudes of teachers which will facilitate this direction.
It is also emphasized all the historical-social evolution of special treatment from the primitive and ancient period up to now and finally focuses on the benefits resulting from proper school and family cooperation in terms of cultivating a healthy integration culture where it will support the social adaptation of children with learning difficulties in the school environment.
In order to serve the research, fellow primary and secondary education teachers were given a questionnaire on knowledge and application of teaching programs for children with special educational needs and learning difficulties organizing the integration and smooth socialization of the particular pupils and their feedback in collaboration with their family environment and their parents.
The results of the survey are recorded in detail and the conclusions refer to the last statistical part of the thesis.
