The main subject is the drug rehabilitation within the correctional system. They are described the conditions under which the inmates of greek who are addicted to drugs live. It is underlined the special treatment that they need and the best ways to succeed through drug rehabilitation and detox programs in the greek correctional system in gradual social intergration of prisoners. Additionally, drug rehabilitation and detox programs are presented. Furthermore, good practices and measures for criminal policy are suggested so as to deal with the drug addicted offenders in an effective way.
