In addition, a second objective is to collect information on unaccompanied minor refugees about their family, immigration, current living conditions, religion, their general medical history expectations for their future conditions and investigation of the symptoms of post traumatic stress disorder with the aim of social and clinical description of the sample.
Methods: The sample of study was 40 boys who live in hospitality structures of unaccompanied minor refugees. The data were collected using three questionnaires. The Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire and the Children's Revised Impact of Event Scale were given to boys translated in native language. In addition, for the needs of study an improvised questionnaire of clinical description and social elements was completed, supplemented by children's caregivers. The statistical analysis was done using the SPSS program.
Results: The findings of survey showed that 56.1% of unaccompanied boys exhibit very serious behavioral difficulties, 75.6% of participants have very serious deficiencies in pre-social skills and 56.1% of unaccompanied refugees face a lot serious difficulties in relationships with peers. In addition, 63.4% of unaccompanied boys show signs of post-traumatic stress disorder while 36.6% have no symptoms that meet the criteria for the disorder. Also migration reasons are associated with pre-social and behavioral problems, living in a temporary accommodation center appears to affect behavioral problems while the choice of the disorder place and has been found to be a factor that can predict behavioral problems.
