Summary:
Delmuszos, Glinos and Triantaphyllides were three of the flagship personalities of the history of education in the first half of the 20th century.
In the collective memory of teachers, of all levels, these three names have been linked, and it is common for the reports to include all three as a single entity.
This is due to their joint participation in the educational reform of 1917, an event with numerous references from those concerned with the history of Education. In our work we will attempt to distinguish, in addition to stereotypes and simplifications, which in many cases have blurred the image, the convergences and the differences in their work and their views. We will therefore try to identify the particular characteristics of each as they emerge in both their converging and divergent paths. On the other hand, they are personalities with different backgrounds and a particular social and ideological background.
In our study we will treat them together, but also each, to the extent that it is done separately, in order to identify their particular characteristics at the social and personal levels, but also at the level of studies. We will search for as many biographical details as possible so that their personalities can be deleted with the greatest possible clarity and completeness. Thereafter, emphasis will be placed on cases of joint actions, since precisely these cases of joint actions have revealed the different perspectives and led to deviations (if any). Concluding our work, we will attempt to identify each person's personal stature at the level of ideology and personal visions so that we can identify in their work and their thoughts the elements of affinity and the elements of distancing they have shaped and their final relationship as historical persons.
