Summary:
At start we make a short historical review in classical cryptography and the RSA cryptosystem. After that we decribe the term of quantum cryptography through physics and the application of quantum key distribution with BB84 protocol. Furthermore we analyse in depth the Shor's algorithm. In the end we talk about post quantum cryptography through the theory of linear codes, lattices and multivariate public key cryptography and describe some post quantum cryptosystems.
