The role of motivation in education of students with ASD
Summary:
This diplomatic work studies the role and importance of incentives in the education of children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder. Autism is a developmental disorder which nowadays records continuous and rapid growth and is characterized by a lack of socialism, communication deficits and stereotypical behavior. Motivation plays an important role in the education of both the general and the specific population and teachers have to integrate it into the learning process. In particular, in the autistic population, there is a lack of motivation for learning. For this reason, it is very important to explore the ways in which incentives can be developed and the strategies for promoting children in the autism spectrum with the ultimate aim of involving them in the education process and developing skills necessary for their lives.
