Summary:
The peculiarity of Biological Science creates demands that Modern Teaching should respond to. A helping hand in this new reality is Educational Technology using Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) The purpose of this master diploma thesis is to study the concept of Technological Pedagogical Knowledge of Content (TPACK), in a sample of secondary school teachers. TPACK is a theoretical framework that studies the effective integration of ICT in Education. The statistical analysis of the results included both descriptive statistics and inductive statistics. Regarding the sample profile of 109 individuals, of whom 37 were male and 72 female teachers, the results showed that Sample Teachers had sufficient Technological Knowledge, Pedagogical Knowledge, Pedagogical Knowledge of Content, Technological Pedagogical Knowledge, and slightly lagging behind Content Knowledge about non-attendance of Biology Seminars and also are seriously lagging behind in Content Technology because most teachers do not know about applications of ICT used in biology professionals are not aware of technologies that can be used to portray the difficult content of biology and cannot create self-activities for students using ICT devices. Overall, however, sample educators have sufficient TPACK.
