Summary:
This study process theoretical and empirical evidence concerning the issues of discipline, class and disorder at the first level of the Greek public school. The research part adopts a qualitative approach to interpretive analysis of semi-structured interviews of fifteen pupils sixth grade of primaries schools in Western Attica and fifteen primary school teachers working as well as, in Western Attica. The aim is to investigate the attitudes of educators and students towards the dominant school system and the way in which the educational system tries to reproduce its social role within the modern socio-economic field as it is formed in the social network according to the economic needs of the labor market. Finally, the emergence of the role of acting pedagogical subjects through their strategic resistance to dominant school culture, conflicts and bargaining is considered to be an important factor in feedback and remodeling of the objectives and formal practices of the education system.
