The relationship between charisma and learning performance
Summary:
The present thesis deals with the relationship between charisma and learning performance. In this context, the various forms of charisma are studied, their characteristics, methods of recognition as well as social, emotional and psychological issues related to charismatic individuals. The learning performance of gifted individuals is then investigated. Finally, the conclusions from the thesis are presented.
Many schools use a variety of assessments of students' aptitude and ability when identifying gifted children. These may include student assignments, classroom observations, achievement tests, and IQ scores. Most teachers accept that no criteria can be used individually to accurately identify a child with talented goals.
Gifted children can develop asynchronously: their minds are often ahead of their physical development, and specific cognitive and emotional functions often develop differently (or to varying degrees) at different stages of development. An often cited example of asynchronous early development is Albert Einstein, who did not speak until the age of four, but whose achievements refute this initial delay. Psychologist and cognitive scientist Steven Pinker thought that instead of seeing Einstein's adult accomplishments (and other famously gifted people with developmental delays) as distinct from or despite his original language deficits and instead of seeing Ai himself disorder, "it may be that Einstein's genius and delay in speech were inherently developmental".
