Summary:
In the present thesis, we made an attempt to highlight whether and to what extent animated films can be used in order for Primary School students to acquire some kind of learning in Sustainability and Environment. It is a work that moves at different levels and aims to investigate: a) whether certain concepts and values are passed on to children when they watch a film in the context of non-formal learning, b) what information from a given film can be gleaned and in what ways can we use it to raise students' awareness of Sustainability and Environment issues and c) whether the educational outcomes of the film have been transformed in learning over time.
Inside, the important terms are clarified, previous research that has been conducted internationally is mentioned and the basic principles that govern and build the tools we used are presented.
