Summary:
The present Master Thesis consists of three satirical poems (two iambic and one hexameter) of John Tzetzes, interpreted and translated in modern Greek. The poems, edited by P.A.M. Leone (1969-1970) with the title "Iambi", refer to disputes among scholars in the 12th century Komnenian Constantinople and focus on the author's effort defending his rhetorical skills and knowledge.
