Ways of assessing the language development of preschool children (2 to 5 years)
Summary:
The purpose of this study is to determine the level of readiness for language development of preschool children, that is, ages 2 to 5 years. Through careful and detailed typing and analysis of contemporary bibliographical references, it is expected to be produced a scientifically focused research paper, related to the assessment of linguistic development of infants, the ways and methods of achieving this, as well as the degree of literacy of children for their transition to elementary school. It also provides a clear conceptual clarification of the terms language, speech and communication, and outlines the dominant theoretical approaches to language acquisition. Finally, a very important part of the present study is the important role of the teacher in the language development of infants, as is the case of a language disorder or deficiency in the child.
