Philosophy and art
Summary:
In the present work we examine the relationship between Philosophy and the Arts. Specifically, we list works and creators from all the Arts, as well as thinkers who have embarked on Philosophy.
In the first chapter we examine the concepts of the intangible and the intangible place in Architecture, with frequent reference mainly to Hegel and Heidegger. In the second chapter we refer to the sensual and aesthetic experience and to the critical and aesthetic impression in Painting, for this purpose we borrow passages from the Philosophy of Wittgenstein, Deleuze and Papanoutsos. In the third chapter, the reader follows the stakes of Poein and the poetic Symbolism, as a current but also as a phenomenon in Poetry in general, with Aristotle and Valery as their main thinkers. In the fourth chapter we are given the opportunity to tour the concept of harmony and rhythm on the occasion of the art of Music, with references from Heraclitus to Nietzsche. In the fifth chapter we deal with the concepts of body and movement in the art of Dance, with references from Diogenes to Spinoza and Descartes. In the sixth chapter we research the concepts of the tragic and the comic, with reference to Philosophy and Theater, so we will return to Aristotle and Bergon. In the seventh chapter concerning Cinema, we examine two films by Jean-Luc Condar, approaching consciousness in everyday reality and the genealogy of the moment, we refer to Kierkegaard and Stamatelo. In the ninth chapter on the Philosophy of Photography, which critically discusses the concepts of spectacle and Photography as a presentation of the historical event, we focus on the work of Debord and Kantava.
