Summary:
The present research is related to the effectiveness of a technical evaluation, the "Most Significant Change", in the evaluation of the learning outcomes of the educational programs and the Religious Course. The research primarily concerns the application of this technique in the educational program "In his world", which is one of the educational programs carried out under the auspices of the Aikaterini Laskaridis Foundation, in the years 2015-2018 in collaboration with EKPA and the Department of Theology , designed by Mario Koukounara Liagi and Iro Potamousi. The applications made by teacher-theologians to high school students in schools in Attica were studied. The research can be divided into two parts, the first part concerns the implementation of the educational program in schools as well as the analysis of the findings, with the evaluation tool the technique of "Most Significant Change". The second is related to the research of the perceptions of educational theologians for the evaluation of the technique of "Most significant change" as an alternative through the evaluation of the learning outcomes of the Curriculum and the teaching of the Course of Religious Studies. Qualitative and quantitative methods were used. The research showed that from the application of the technique, "Most Significant Change" the results of the evaluation are immediate and answer questions about the course or improvement of a program as well as so unexpected that in another situation it would take twice as long to emerge . The evaluation of the educational program showed that most students were significantly influenced by the program in the formation of their identity as well as in their relationships with peers. In fact, for the relationship between the technique and the expected learning outcomes in the context of the Religious Studies Course, the teachers identify its strengths and its usefulness, but also note their reservations. After the analysis, it is concluded that one of the most important advantages of the application of the technique of "Most important change" is that it benefits those involved, as it evaluates to a great extent the achievement of learning outcomes, leaving room for emergence and unexpected results. learning / understanding of learners, as it promotes critical thinking, argumentation, and freedom of speech.
