Summary:
The present study aims to investigate resilience and self-efficacy to teachers, during distance learning, and whether their attitude and knowledge, about new technologies, are related to their resilience and self-efficacy and whether these variables can predict teachers' opinion on distance learning. The study involved 270 primary and secondary school teachers. The majority of participants stated that their experience of distance education was negative and that distance education lags significantly. The results highlight the high correlation between resilience and self-efficacy and that these variables were at elevated levels in teachers, during distance learning. Also, there is a significant correlation between the attitude of teachers about distance learning, their knowledge of computer use, the difficulties of planning and conducting online courses, which they encountered. The results of the research show that resilience and self-efficacy of the teachers during distance learning was maintained at high levels. Finally, it would be useful to investigate qualitatively the factors that contributed to this retention.
