In recent years, the changes observed in the modern world have dramatically affected education, which has to meet new challenges and redefine its role and goals.The school as an organization with a pedagogical character, having full function and interdependence with the ever-changing society, redesigns its activities and adopts modern educational practices to harmonize with the modern reality and to achieve the upgrade and creation of a more substantial and effective education. .
School and family are undoubtedly the most important factors in the socialization and development of the child.In recent decades, it has become increasingly apparent that school-family collaboration positively influences the educational process and contributes to the formation of students' personalities and school success. This paper aims to highlight the need for school-family collaboration and the value of parental involvement, analyzing the benefits that arise, the barriers that exist as well as the practices that could help strengthen it.
