Summary:
The purpose of this research is to compare the textbooks of the 3rd Gymnasium, the
majority school with that of the minority school. The comparison of the two textbooks was made based on the relevance of the structure and content with the epistemological example of "New History" and the cultivation of students' historical thinking, the selection of the objectives of the curriculum through the use of the material of the two school registrations. The similarities or differences between the two textbooks in terms of the content of the historical narrative and the historical sources. For the examination of the material, the research mixed model of quantitative and qualitative content analysis was utilized and a system of categories formed according to the above axes was compiled. After the study and elaboration of the material, essential differences were found; since the textbook of the Institute of Educational Policy of the 3rd Gymnasium seems to be more in line with the traditional epistemological example of history, while of the Muslim Children's Education Program with that of the "New History". The objectives of the curriculum seem to be realized more through the material contained in the textbook of the Muslim Children Education Program. The structure and content of the Institute for Educational Policy's history textbook approaches historical knowledge more traditionally, focusing mainly on historical narrative, while the minority school textbook focuses on historical sources. The way the content of the textbook of the Muslim children's Education program is structured is in line with the most active ways of teaching and offers more possibilities in this direction than the history textbook of the Institute of Educational Policy. Finally, in terms of the degree of convergence or divergence of historical narrative and historical sources, the history textbook of the Muslim Children's Education Program contains a larger number of historical sources, which often formulate positions-views different from the official historical narrative. The historical narrative of the textbook of the Muslim Children's Education Program also contains examples of multiplicity. On the other hand, the history textbook of the Educational Policy Institute is characterized by monophony and lack of supporting material, which, even when quoted, simply agrees or complements the historical narrative.
