Human resource management in health services
Summary:
The aim of this work is the analysis of human resources management in health services. For this purpose, the theoretical background of Human Resource Management is initially presented, and in particular, some definitions are listed and the concepts of Total Quality Management, Strategic Management and Health Services Management are analyzed.
In the second section, the basic functions of Human Resource Management are analyzed, namely, Planning, Remuneration System, Training and Human Resource Development.
In the third section, the Human Resources Management in the health sector is presented, where the health system in Greece, the HRM in Health, the training and development of personnel, as well as the role of the HRM in the Health Units are mentioned.
Finally, the fourth section constitutes the research part of the paper, as a survey was conducted using questionnaires on 100 employees in the health sector. The research methodology is described in detail, as well as the empirical results and the statistical analysis of the results, in order to draw some conclusions.
Finally, a summary of the work is made and some general conclusions are presented, as well as suggestions for further research.
