STUDY OF THE EFFECT OF PHYSICAL ACTIVITY IN CHILDREN WITH CEREBRAL PALSY: METHODS AND INTERVENTIONS TO PROMOTE SOCIAL AND MENTAL WELL-BEING

Physical activity constitutes an integral element of children's development and well-being, holding particular significance for those with cerebral palsy. The challenges accompanying this disability are manifold, including motor impairments, limited communication, and social isolation. In this context, integrating physical activity into therapeutic programs becomes crucial, offering an alternative approach to enhancing the social and psychological well-being of these children. This study delves into the role of physical activity as a therapeutic medium for children with cerebral palsy. We explore how physical engagement influences their development, as well as its potential contribution to their social integration and psychological well-being. Furthermore, we examine various methods and therapies employed to promote these outcomes, such as physical therapy, occupational therapy, and music therapy. Through this analysis, our aim is to comprehend how physical activity can strengthen the children's skills, improve their quality of life, and boost their self-confidence. Our objective is to highlight the significant contribution of physical activity to the development and well-being of children with cerebral palsy and propose avenues for further research and practical approaches in this field.
