Summary:
This research explores the subject of industrial policy in the EU, its historical development, mapping out its contribution, challenges and prospects. The scholarship aims to provide an integrated perspective on the role played by industrial policies within the European Union. The study analyzes the institutional modality of EU for industrial policy, a comprehensive account of the historical evolution of EU industrial policy, evaluating to what extent it has impacted the subject through case studies and its significant comparison with other countries too is presented herein. As far as concerns the challenges faced by EU instrumental policy adopt new pastures, several trends shortly exploring their implications on the future of EU instrumental policy are also discussed here. The study concludes with recommendations and proposals towards the future course of EU instrumental policy.
