Summary:
The purpose of this thesis was to investigate and analyze the marketing activities of a sports club named Κ.Α.Ε. Α.Σ. ΚΑΡΔΙΤΣΑΣ (A.S.K.) in the 2022-2023 season, according to the theoretical framework for the implementation of the marketing plan in professional sport, as well as the development of actions he should follow to improve his marketing. Results have shown some satisfactory results of A.S.K. regarding the marketing plan that was followed, dealing mainly with the increased
number in sales of tickets and sponsorships, not to mention the creation of the official team boutique. There have been several proposals for further improvement and development of the marketing of the team. Advertising through social media, additional sponsors of communication and the constant use of facilities for social events are ideal promoting actions. In conclusion, A.S.K. has provided positive marketing ideas during the 2022-2023 season, but there is potential of improvement
and likely to become more competitive against other teams.
