Summary:
Introduction
Long-Term Health Care is an essential intervention of quality and quantity of help for people who are in the last stage of serious diseases, as well as for their relatives worldwide. However, in Greece it remains at a preparatory stage with few individual clinics and pain relief centers, standard medical infrastructures that operate fragmented and in a small geographical area (Athens, Thessaloniki and regional urban centers), but with insufficient or partial government funding.
Purpose
The present study focuses on the inhibiting factors that make it difficult for the population and vulnerable socioeconomic groups to access the vulnerable public health system in Greece, particularly in the issue of long-term care.
Methodology
The purpose of the work is to investigate the actions, initiatives within the framework of action plans and cross-sectoral medico-therapeutic infrastructures with the ultimate aim of providing long-term care and correspondingly, in the long-term, uninterruptedly its effectiveness as well as its flexible response to vulnerable socio-economic groups and their relatives. To achieve this goal, a systematic bibliographic - article review was conducted. With reference to the material of the specific research,



Results
Through a relevant research approach, how the long-term care delivery system affected the professionalism of the public and private medical infrastructure sector, the perception and the psyche of the operators, therapists, caregivers and also the patients are under consideration. the solutions and differences identified in the long-term care medico-therapeutic sector.
Conclusion
The contribution of this specific study lies through the structural analysis of the current situation in Greece and international practice in the recognition and presentation of the needs created for end-stage patients and their caregivers. especially in times of economic crisis when better management of health resources is required.
