John, the author of the oldest gospel, the invoked Mark of Acts, who is mentioned by the apostles Peter and Paul, is the author of the Gospel passage of the Resurrection of Jesus (Mk. 16. 1,8) which we approached interpretatively and comparatively, not only with the rest of the evangelists, but also with authors of the Apocrypha Christian Secretariat etc. Mark completes his gospelmentioningthe resurrection of Christ, in fact he presents information about it, without describing the detailed and actual event of the Resurrection, because it inaugurates a new world that is not subject to the laws of the present world of corruption. The earliest account of the discovery of the empty tomb by the Myrophores is that of Mark (16, 1-8), which was the written source of the other two Synoptics, while John follows another form of the resurrection tradition. In this work, the scientific research of the empty tomb is supportedbythe historicity of the critical analysis of the Gospel narratives and in the faith of the disciples in the Resurrection and the appearances of the Lord.
In this sentence we quote the text of the Gospel passage of Mark, according to the Byzantine text (New Testament) of the Apostolic Ministry of the Church of Greece, with practical and interpretive observations and commentaries. Then follows the Gospel passage in the Codex Sinaiticus and the Nestle-Aland text With particular respect we preserve and study the text in the Orthodox Church, as the numerous manuscripts testify.Apart the interpretation process, performedbothby the first ecclesiastical writersandthe younger ones, we also refer to how science, archaeology, hymnology, literature, iconography and art in general approach the Resurrection of the Lord. Finally, special reference is also made cocnerning the burial customs and traditions of the 1st century. as well as the persons who - the event of the Resurrection of Christ - highlighted as "protagonists".
