Summary:
Teachers are often concerned about their behavior towards students as well as their teaching practices. The present study investigates the perceptions of Primary School Greek teachers towards the factors causing emotional disorders - behavior problems in primary school students and the development of cooperative strategies to deal with them. More specifically, the causes of the disturbances that are given are: family context, the teacher, the child and the school. The sample was consisted of 191 school teachers. The data collection was made with self- report questionnaires. Results showed that the cooperation between teacher and family is necessary. In that way, the child would be helped sufficiently. Finally, it is found that there are deficiencies in the support services to deal with these disorders.
