Summary:
The purpose of this study aims to investigate the effectiveness of strategies for the social-emotional learning of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder attending Primary School and the cultivation of their social-emotional skills, i.e. self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills and responsible decision-making. In order to find out whether the applied strategies for social-emotional learning work effectively in social-emotional competence, we proceeded with a literature review of existing social-emotional learning strategies aimed at students with Autism Spectrum Disorder who attend Elementary School. The results of this study indicate that the strategies applied for social-emotional learning of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder in Primary School can contribute positively to the development of the social-emotional skills of the investigated students’ sample.
