Εμφάνιση, πρόληψη και αποκατάσταση τραυματισμών ώμων σε αθλητές αντισφαίρισης
Summary:
The aim of this study is to present a comprehensive analysis of shoulder injuries in tennis players, including a literature review, injury analysis, and prevention and rehabilitation strategies. Over 25% of professional teen tennis players and over 50% of middle-aged players experience injuries. The rate of the shoulder injuries varies to 13,2%. To begin with, common injuries such as rotator cuff tendinitis and scapular dyskinesia that result from repetitive shoulder motion are addressed. Shoulder anatomy and mechanical stresses during tennis strokes are analyzed with an emphasis on muscle strength and endurance. The study suggests prevention strategies through strengthening and stretching exercises for the rotator cuff muscles, focusing on restoring muscle balance. Also presented is an interval tennis program for the safe reintegration of athletes, which includes gradually increasing the intensity of exercises and using different types of balls to adapt the shoulder to competitive conditions. Overall, the study provides a framework for understanding, preventing and rehabilitating shoulder injuries in tennis players.
