Understanding animal diversity, lesson plans for students of High School.
Summary:
In the present thesis there will be created lesson plans that are relevant to the Biology course of
the 1st year of High School, in accordance with the content of the new study program.
Specifically, the lesson plans are based on Phylogeny, Vertebrates and Invertebrates, Nutrition
and Digestion, Reproduction and Perception of stimuli. All lesson plans are created in such a way
that the student is directly involved and discovers new knowledge under the guidance of the
professor. Simultaneously, the lesson plans are enriched with worksheets, which include exercises
aimed at assimilating the new knowledge. Therefore, the didactic approach followed is
constructivism.
