Summary:
In this thesis, we are concerned with the problem of common quadratic Lyapunov
function existence for families of linear time-invariant systems. Essentially,
our investigation is motivated by the importance of the effect of a common
quadratic Lyapunov function to deduce if a linear switched system is
asymptotically stable under arbitrary switching rules.
