GENERAL GEOMETRIC CONNECTIONS AND APPLICATIONS TO GENERAL THEORY OF RELATIVITY
Summary:
The thesis consists of two parts, the mathematical and the applications to gravity. The mathematical part is geometry on the tangent bundle and Finsler spaces, in particular (fiber bundles, non linear connections, d-linear connections, Finsler spaces). The applications part starts with an intoduction to gravity (general relativity and cosmology) and continues with two applications (Finsler structure of an anisotropic gravitational field and Finsler-Randers cosmological model).
