Summary:
The ever-changing and uncertain environment in which modern schools are called to operate has brought about significant changes in the role of the teacher but also in the methodologies applied in learning.
Developments worldwide combined with the rapid development of technology and the limitations of formal education create the need for a more flexible form of education that meets all levels, distance education that incorporates various ICT tools. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of ICT and distance methodology to Primary schools in rural areas on students with learning disabilities. The methodology followed in the work is triangulation with quantitative and qualitative research for the possible reliability of the research. A questionnaire was given to 200 randomly selected teachers serving in primary education in rural areas of the country and ten interviews were conducted with teachers teaching in primary schools. The tools used for the analysis were spss 24 and excel.
The results showed the ICT tools which help most in distance education are educational software and videos as well as interactive applications and games.
The use of ICT, Psycho-pedagogical Development Programs, the bright colors and images and the Emotional Intelligence Programs were the best treatment for learning disabilities, and distance education could help learning disabilities.
The teachers, referring to what way ICT helps children with learning disabilities, they emphasized the audiovisual approach to teaching with the use of images and sound, the opportunity for multiple repetitions, the playful way teaching the subject matter.

ICT applications that help students with learning disabilities included the interactive whiteboard, various types of interactive software, and programs tailored to learning disabilities.
In addition, their training in ICT and learning disabilities was not satisfactory indicating that perhaps the training should be more specialized and / or longer.
