Regional `Clubs' in Agriculture: Empirical Evidence

This paper attempts to provide empirical evidence on the hypothesis of
club-convergence in agriculture. Specifically, we address the question
of whether, during the period 1995-2004 the NUTS-2 regions of EU-25
exhibited tendencies to converge in respect of their labour productivity
in agriculture. It is established that the regions of European Union
follow two different patterns in their convergence behavior. (C) 2013
